Childhood Musings

I was lying on my back on the stretching mat at the gym the other day looking up at the ceiling and the moving clouds through a massive skylight. I began to ponder my next moves if gravity suddenly reversed and I found myself walking on the ceiling. I wouldn't be able to make it back to the locker room, so I'd have to head out in my gym clothes, and finding my way down (now up) the 9 floors back to the street would be a long trek that would involve a lot of urban rock climbing skills. The streets would be even more perilous since one wrong move would send you falling straight up into the sky. At some point in my mindless wondering, it occurred to me that I used to play out the same scenario in my head when I was very little, and then I began to wonder if I'd do it all my life. Then someone stepped on my hand and I was back on the stretching mat at the gym.
