Helmet Head

It's cold enough that I have to wear a hat under my bike helmet when I ride to work in the morning. I put it on with wet hair, and when I take it off after the bike ride, the hair on the back of my head sticks straight up. It will not be tamed. It never happens during the summer, only when I wear my stocking hat. The woman who used to cut my hair would try to sell me styling products after each haircut, and I always declined saying I rode my bike to work wearing a helmet every day. She said I could just style my hair in the bathroom when I got to work, and I said I'd rather be the guy with horrible hair who bikes to work every day than the guy who styles his hair in the bathroom each morning. In spite of the terrible hair, it's still true.
