America's Cup

The America's Cup is happening soon. Or maybe it's happening now. I don't know, I don't follow it. I know just enough to know that it's a yacht race held among rich white guys and it's on TV every four years. It's the only sport I watch where all I do is cheer for a crash. It seems savage to watch car racing and hope for carnage, but in the case of super-slow multi-million dollar yachts, I'm all for it. Fortunately, it's very easy for me to catch these crashes, seldom as they are, since they're the only highlights of the race that are shown on sports news. When the crash is the only highlight, you know you're spending your millions on a pretty dull sport.
