The first days of spring are the best part of the year, weather-wise. It was easy to miss the first days of spring in the Midwest because they would last about three days and then you'd be in the dog days of summer. And in Utah you'd get a few days of spring and then it'd be winter again for two months. When that first day of spring hits, no matter where you are, everyone is outside in short-sleeve shirts. You don't get that kind of behavior on a 45F day in October. Pasty people pile into the streets walking down the sides of roads. And drivers leave the windows down on their cars so all those people walking on the streets can share in their music.
