Shuttle Program

I have mixed feelings about the discontinuation of the space shuttle program. I understand that it's expensive and as a nation we're pretty broke, but it's also one of the cooler things the government does. And providing hope and a sense of discovery is something that shouldn't get cut from the budgets. I also wonder what they're going to do with the space shuttles once they're done with them. They might go to a museum, or maybe they'll take them to a junkyard and get a fat check when they sell them for scrap metal. If that's the case, I could take one. Well, actually I would take two so that I'd have one for spare parts.
