Getting Dizzy

I used to date a girl who worked as a nanny, and sometimes she'd bring the kids she was in charge of to the park and I'd meet them on my bike. The one kid was really into getting dizzy. It occurs to me that kids who love being dizzy might be prone to drug and alcohol abuse later in life since they enjoy altered states of consciousness so much. One day at the park, the kid kept asking me to spin him on a tire swing. He'd stager around when he climbed down until the dizziness wore off, then he'd climb back in and ask for more. The last time I saw that girl, I'd been spinning the kid on the tire for about 20 minutes before they left. She later told me that when they got back to the minivan she used to cart them around, she buckled the kid into his seat, then told her he didn't feel very well before projectile vomiting all over the back of the car seat in front of him.
