The Office Bulletin Board
I love it when companies setup internal, online bulletin boards for employees to post notes asking for contributions for their walkathon for-sale notices on their old couch. It's a thinly veiled attempt to try to get employees to quit using the ALL@ email address to ask for donations for their marathons. I encourage all of my friends to check their company's online bulletin board and see if anything's been updated in the past six months. If not, I suggest logging onto your office neighbor's computer while he or she is at lunch and posting a note to the bulletin board under their name saying: "I have a bunch of free stuff in the top drawer of their desk for anyone who wants it." You'll forget about until a year later when a fight breaks out in the next cubicle.
