One of my colleagues bought a wireless phone charger at a deep discount from a no-name electronics company in China. He loves it since he can set his phone on top of it whenever he's at his desk, and by the day's end it's charged for his ride home. He's suggested that I buy one, but I'm not going to. The charger gets pretty hot during the day, and if it one day gets so hot that it begins shooting sparks and burns down our building, I don't want there to be any question about where the fire originated. The company also makes space heaters, so you know they have at least a few major fires under their belts.
