I'm With The (Terrible) Band

I've been lucky that none of my friends are terrible musicians bent on starting a band. These are painful relationships to have with people. "Come see our band tonight man!" Then the next day, "Why weren't you at the show last night?" Though now, it's easier to grow your network of online friends, so you'll get things over email like, "Like our band's page on Facebook!" And, "Share our band with friends!" Or, "Listen to our awful, awful music that no one can stand and then tell us how much you like it." I don't know what the phrase "making it" means to you, but it's not going to happen for your band online friend.
