It Was The Best of Times

It seems like whenever you forget a raincoat, it rains. It's probably more often that you remember your raincoat when it rains, but you don't remember those times. You remember the times you get burned. If you think back on high school, you remember the big game you lost or the time you got humiliated in class, and all the happy, normal times fade away. It's our natural tendency to remember the times that we felt like idiots, and it must be hardwired into our survival. After all, we're still around, and it seems like we all remember the worst of times.
