Worlds Collide

One of my favorite places on the east side of town is a store called Good Beer. They sell rare beers from all over the world by the bottle, and they fill growlers with stuff I've never heard of. One of my favorite places on the west side of town is a Wisconsin bar called Kettle of Fish. It used to be a bar where beat poets and folk musicians hung out in the 1960s. There's a period film being made about folk music in the 60s, and the producers changed a strip on the east side to make it look like the west for a few days. During this time, Good Beer was made to look like Kettle of Fish from the 60s. Worlds colliding across space and time. This one event managed to encapsulate all my favorite 60s music and beer in one place. I find it to be strong evidence there's a greater power in the world watching over me and beer.
