I just read an article saying that egg yolks are not all that bad for you. The article used a lot of words I didn't understand, so it's probably true. Every few years we find that something we thought would kill us could actually save us. One year we're supposed to avoid alcohol. The next year we're supposed to drink one glass of red wine. Then two, then it doesn't matter what we drink as long as it's a couple drinks a day. Then bacon and butter will kill you. Then it turns out margarine is just as bad as butter, so if you're going to eat one, stick with butter. The theme through all of these medical dietary recommendations is that moderation is king. It seems like you could get away with eating sticks of butter like bananas as long as you only did it once a year.
