Happy Labor Day

I don't remember the events of a single Labor Day over the course of my life. It's not really my fault, it's that Memorial Day and Labor Day end up blending together into a general summer memory for me. That's why this year on Labor Day I'm going to do the exact same thing that I did on Memorial Day. That way I don't have to bother trying to remember when I did what. It's a low-rent version of the movie Groundhog's Day. For the second time this summer I'm going to rent a boat, not bother dropping a fishing line in the water, and then at some point watch my friend Frank try to get the boat off of a sandbar he's discovered in the middle of the bay. The magic of summer.
