Hummus Fast Food
I have lunch every few months at a restaurant called Hummus Place. They sell big bowls full of hummus with a couple pieces of pita. The hummus is good, but what's shocking is that it takes them about twenty minutes to bring it to you. Look, if Taco Bell can make me a 7-layer burrito wrapped in two kinds of shells and deep fried in less than four minutes, you have no excuse to make anyone wait longer than three minutes for a bowl of hummus. But Hummus Place stays in business, and it's always crowded when I walk past. It's for this reason that I always reserve judgment when friends or acquaintances share their terrible business idea with me. Hey, if a restaurant can sell huge bowls of hummus and thrive, who am I to question my friend's homemade dog food business?
