I bought a Nike Dan vs Dave Shirt that was printed for the Olympics when I was in seventh grade. It was my first try at irony in T-shirt purchases. It was on sale for only a couple dollars after Dave failed to make the Olympic Decathlon team, embarrassing himself and Nike. Hopefully he still received the cash for the endorsement. Unfortunately, like most of the great deals I score on T-shirts, rain jackets, backpacks, and shoes, the Dan vs Dave shirt was an ugly color and way too big. Still, I wish I'd held onto that ironic T-shirt for sentimental value, in fact, it would probably fit me now.
