Choosing a favorite beer isn't an option. If you came to me and said, "What's your favorite dry stout on nitro?" or "What cheap beer do you think is best to drink at room temperature?" then I could give you an honest answer, but I always thought it foolish to pick a favorite overall beer -- it'd be like picking a favorite cheese (HA! Can you even IMAGINE?!). Well, then, I tried Ballast Point's Sculpin IPA. It is my favorite beer. It's best in cans, but it's still great in a bottle, and its status on tap in the Northeast is mythic. And, for the record, the best cheap beer (at any temperature) is Schlitz. It was good enough for the Greatest Generation, and it's more than adequate for the Meh-llennials.
