Reality Sports

I was thinking about how much I dislike reality television and then it occurred to me that I watch a lot of sports on TV. Sports is reality TV at its basest, though I'd argue it's much better than dramatized reality TV. At least you don't know what's going to happen with sports, even when you're pretty sure you know what's going to happen. It's unfortunate that televised sports are becoming more like dramatized reality programs. I can't remember the last game I watched where an announcer didn't try to sell me a storyline about one guy overcoming adversity while some other guy took trash talk too far. The funniest aspect is that this dramatization of sports doesn't appeal to people who watch reality TV. And on the other side as much as I think it would be a good idea if realty TV stars began tackling each other, it would get old really fast.
