ATM Fee or Gum

I belong to a bank that has no ATMs within miles of my home even though I live in one of the most densely populated places in the country. So, when I need a bit of cash I can go to the drug store across the street and pay their $2 ATM fee, or I can wait in the line for 10 minutes to buy a $2 pack of gum and then get $40 cash back using my debit card. It boils down to whether I want the 10 minutes of my life not waiting in line or whether I want the pack of gum; it's the same price either way. Today, on my way to buy a spoke for my front wheel, I stopped for cash and chose the gum, then waited in line about 15 minutes. I chewed gum the whole walk to the bike shop, enjoying my time very much, but I arrived at the bike shop about 10 minutes after they'd closed. At least I'll have gum to chew while I'm walking to work tomorrow morning.
