Though I love watching football on TV, I always welcome the end of regular season. Not because the season's too long or it takes up too much of my time, it's more like I use the end of regular season as a sign that we're turning the corner on winter and pretty soon the days will begin getting longer. I'll miss spending the idle Sundays sitting in bars with friends, keeping tabs on several games at once while lamenting the lack of talent on my fantasy football team, but at least it will be light out past 4pm soon.
