The Happy Couple:

What does it mean when you're super annoyed to see happy couples out in public? It doesn't seem like a good sign for what's going on in your life. I was talking to someone I used to work with and she said she'd never get married. That she hates marriage. That even the thought of it made her anxious, and that if she ever did get to that point in a relationship, she'd probably be a runaway bride. I wasn't sure what to say. What I wanted to say was: "Good news then! You're alone!" Don't get me wrong, I've never accepted the notion that there's someone out there for everyone. A lot of people are happier alone. I just don't want them to complain to me about weddings.
