It's always awkward when an older person falls down in front of you. You rush up and ask if they're okay, but they're obviously not since they're laying on the ground. Then you're not sure if you should grab them and haul them upright or just leave them there and wait for someone who knows better. My girlfriend and I saw an older woman laying in a doorway calling for help, and we rushed over. After a few moments of trying to get her help, she told us we could leave when it became clear that we weren't going to give her any money. I applaud her ingenuity. That lady should get a job in advertising.
